New Facility Opening!
The Council on Addiction Recovery Services (CAReS) has received its Operating Certificate for the Willow House, a new Residential Treatment Facility for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) in Westons Mills, NY. This facility was constructed under the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Rapid Treatment Expansion grant.
The current level of care being provided is called Reintegration. At Willow House, this level of care is a community living experience with a number of residents living in a single facility. The males and females in this Reintegration level of care are transitioning to long-term recovery from substance use disorder and independent living in the community. Oversight will be provided by staff but at a decreased level from the level of care and oversight being provided at Hawthorne House (formerly known as Westons Manor) Services will include case management and the recovery coaching/peer advocacy.
CAReS anticipates being able to provide higher levels of care, Stabilization and Rehabilitation, in the near future. More information on the nature of those services will be provided at the time.
The facility will open on Monday, July 27, 2020.
